Application Process

  1. Registration: Visit neet.nta.nic.in → Create account with email/mobile (February 2026).
  2. Fill Form: Enter personal/academic details, upload photo/signature (10–200 KB).
  3. Choose Exam City: Select 3 preferences (international cities: extra ₹25,000 fee).
  4. Pay Fee: Online – ₹1,700 (General), ₹1,600 (Gen-EWS/OBC), ₹1,000 (SC/ST/PwD).
  5. Correction Window: Limited edits (extra fee for category/city change).
  6. Admit Card: Download from April 2026; Carry to exam with photo ID.

Eligibility Criteria

 

  • Nationality: Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, Foreign nationals.
  • Age Limit: Minimum 17 years by Dec 31, 2026 (born on/after Jan 1, 2010). No upper limit.
  • Qualification: Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, English (core/elective).
  • Minimum Marks: 50% (General) | 40% (SC/ST/OBC) | 45% (PwD).
  • Attempts: Unlimited.
  • Open School/Private: Eligible (NIOS/equivalent).
